Plot Summary
:

In this animated installment of the Resident Evil saga, Claire and government agent Leon S. Kennedy reunite in a busy American airport, where a T-virus-infected zombie has been set loose amid the civilian crowd. As Claire and Leon dodge and destroy zombies and search for any survivors, they must also expose the bio-terrorists who are using the T-virus attack to hold the country hostage.

Review:
First, I just have to say that while I would love to play the Resident Evil games, I just really don't have that much time for video games any more :-( [Truth be told, I would rather read a book] :-)
With that said, I have enjoyed the live action adaptations that have been made [well, the 1st & 3rd ones anyway] and even though this film takes place right in the same world as the games, which I really know nothing about, I have been looking forward to seeing it.

If you are a fan of the games, I do not really see why you wouldn't enjoy this movie. [most true fans of the game, that I know, despise the live action versions, so this film was made for them]

The film takes place seven years after Racoon City was destroyed by a missile attack.
A plane crashes into an airport [excellent animation by the way!] unleashing a slew of T-virus-infected zombies. Luckily, it just so happens that Claire Redfield [who I know is from the games] just happens to be at said airport. . .

The 1st half hour of the film is basically the extraction of survivors from the airport, which includes some pretty cool slow-motion game shot effects. We then find out that some
bio-terrorists have gotten hold of the T-virus, and are demanding the truth of what really happened in Racoon City, or they will unleash the T-virus in every major populated city in the U. S.
It is up to Claire Redfield & Leon S. Kennedy [also from the games] to put a stop to this threat. . .

This one is definitely recommended if you are a fan of the games, and I even recommend it to those who are not, as the CG animation is, at times, stunning!
