Review:
First, just let me say that I absolutely loved the 1st Feast! [that one is a 5 Skulls flick!]
This one, however, is an incoherent piece of crap! There is nothing worthwhile or redeemable in this film - nothing! [one of the things that I hated the most were the creatures! They were not scary in the least! In fact, they looked just like men in pathetic rubber suits!] :-(

The best thing about this movie is its title, [Sloppy Seconds ~ gotta love that one!] and perhaps the red-headed biker chick with the ball-pin hammers ;-)

Here's the Trailer:

If you read my 2008 Bone Breaker Awards, now you know why this one received the most disappointing sequel - I had such high hopes for this one!

What worries me most is that this film, and it's upcoming sequel [Feast III: The Happy Finish ~ being released, on DVD, on February 17th - I believe] were filmed back-to-back. . . Hopefully this film is not a sign of things to come - hopefully the 3rd will be more like the 1st!

With that said, skip this movie all-together, and stay tuned for the review of the 3rd one, once it comes out. . .

I thought these movies were a big let down as well.

The first one was alright, but the only reason I wanted to see it was because Jason Mews was in it, of course they killed him off in the first few minutes...

Yeah, I wish they had kept him around a little longer. . .

Still, I loved the 1st one!

Jason Mews, was he the "Hero" you're talking about that was killed off like instantly? lol
I'll have to check this out because I love the first one.

iMike,

No, Mewes wasn't the hero, he was just a patron in the bar :-)

Trust me on this one though bro - don't waste your time - there is no comparrison with this one and the 1st one!

I liked the first one a lot. Seeing Henry Rollins in - was it pink sweat pants or something? Was inspired... but I'll avoid this one.

hahahaha - inspired. . . :-)

Avoiding this one is definitely the right decision!

I agree, I thought the first film showed real promise. And I was rooting for Gulager after watching the creation of the first Feast on Project Greenlight.

I didn't realize this had been filmed back-to-back with the third film. That's a shame. I had hoped that one would be an improvement. Oh well.

Lisa,

Hopefully Gulager got the crap out of his system filming this 2nd one, and the 3rd one will get back to the 'roots' and be an improvement!

I agree with you. It wasn't good as Feast 1. How do you top Henry Rollins as a motivational speaker??

But this one had monster infanticide which I thought was kinda funny.

JV,

You can't top Henry Rollins as a motivational speaker :-)

As for the infanticide
- I dunno... kinda silly, I thought.
