Seth Rogen is "the man"!

Review:

I just watched this movie, for the very first time, and found it to be absolutely hysterical ~ laugh-out-loud funny! [I watched this while my son was taking his nap, and I am surprised that he slept through my constant laughing!] :-)

If you have not yet seen this movie, I definitely recommend it, though be warned: it is extremely crude & raunchy, and it has a ton of language! (If you are easilly offended, then this movie is not for you!)
Aside from that though, the movie is superbly well written by Seth Rogen & Evan Goldberg. Actually, the two main characters are named Seth & Evan - I wonder if Rogen & Goldberg were writing from experience :-)

Seth Rogen (who, I think, is one of the funniest actors out there) and Bill Hader play two dim-witted police offers, who are an absolute riot!

One of my favorite scenes in the movie is when Seth (the character/played by Jonah Hill) admits to his best friend Evan, that when he was younger he had an unhealthy obsession with drawing a certain part of the human anatomy. . . I had tears in my eyes, I was laughing so hard! :-)

Another favorite part is when the three friends (Seth, Evan, and Fogell - aka McLOVIN) attempt to score some alcohol from a Liquor store. . . 1st Seth and then Fogell. . . Too funny!!! This movie is one that can be watched repeatedly and will be just as funny, every time!

This movie and Knocked Up are infinately rewatchable to me. In fact there hasn't been a Apatow film I haven't liked yet, and I agree Seth Rogan is always hillarious. Looking foward to Zack and Miri Make a Porno.

I agree.

Zack & Miri should be interesting - I laugh out loud, everytime I see the trailer with Seth Rogen, as the UPS Delivery Guy, doing that dance, with his belly hanging over his boxers, trying to be all sexy - Hilarious! :-)

It has been a long time since i saw "superbad".
Well my friend the movie was awesome and funny.
In my opinion all the american comedy movies which have been released in the time after american pie since today were
sooooo kitchy.Stupid characters,not funny jokes...etc
But "superbad" (along with "knocked up")
made the difference.
The characters from superbad are true life.Funny characters with no need for acting like stupid and brain damaged so they can make you laugh.
Jonah Hill RULEZ and the 70's vintage aesthetics just enthused me.
Regards Sergio.
PS:sorry for my bad english

Sergio,

Your English is just fine!

I agree, Jonah Hill was very funny - he is like a young Seth Rogen! :-)

Saw this in theaters when it first came out, and then liked it enough to buy a slightly used copy on DVD shortly after it was released. Loved it. One of my favorite film genres is the R-rated teen sex comedy, which you don't really see a whole lot of nowadays (really, they enjoyed their renaissance in the late 70s and early-to-mid 80s), or at least not a whole lot of really, truly good ones. Porky's. Fast Times At Ridgemont High. The Last American Virgin. Private School. Hardbodies. Risky Business. Weird Science. Hot Dog: The Movie. Losin' It. Bikini Shop. Zapped. Revenge Of The Nerds (my personal favorite). I could go on all day. They just don't make 'em like they used to. The American Pie series runs hot n' cold with me. I go back n' forth with 'em. But Superbad? Superbad kicked fucking ass. And, like you mentioned, the penis obsession confession scene, is a riot. I especially loved all the dick drawings that fly by during the end credits.
Also, I'm a pervert in every conceivable way... so, all that barely legal tail on display in the flick? Boneriffic!

hahahahahahahaha :-)

I agree with you on these William - there are not enough "really good ones" out there. . .

Fortunately Superbad worked!
