Plot Summary:
Upon breaking his leg, a snowboarder and his four friends find themselves stranded at a decrepit ski lodge in the Norwegian mountains. After learning that the ski lodge was closed long ago when a boy vanished, the group discovers that they are not alone and they'll be lucky to stay alive, let alone return home.

Review:
The movie starts off with the disappearance of a child, the ensuing search, and related newspaper articles [sort of like those used at the beginning of the re-make of My Bloody Valentine, except without the 3-D effects!]

The movie then jumps ahead to five friends [3 guys and two girls] who are looking for some thrills on the Norwegian slopes. After one of them breaks their leg, they realize that they are miles from their car and it will soon be getting dark. They spot an abandoned ski lodge and decide to stay there, overnight, not knowing that a killer resides in the cellar of the lodge. . .

While I enjoyed this movie, I was still a bit disappointed [I mean, after hearing great things about it ~ Norway's best horror film ~ one of the best slasher films out there right now, etc] I guess that my expectations were just too high.
With that said, the movie is still worth seeing - it is well acted [the terror and pain portrayed is very realistic] and it has a good story and a good ending [though I am not too sure how the sequel plays into things]
