My Birthday

Yep, today's the day! :-)

Every few years, my Birthday falls exactly on Thanksgiving, which just so happens to be my favorite Holiday, so that works out nice! As I type this our Turkey, etc is cooking in the oven. . .
I just wanted to jump on here and post my gifts, from my family:
[*Note: My children always pick their very own gifts]

On the left, is a one-handed sea-salt grinder (from my 8 yr old daughter) Next is a braided-leather bracelet (from my 2 yr old son) On the right, is a pair of ear-muffs, that are worn behind the head (from my 4 yr old daughter) In the middle is Leisure Books' latest re-print of Richard Laymon's Beware (from my wife) [*Laymon is my favorite horror author]

Below, is a Dexter t-shirt (from my 15 yr old son)

Also, when I checked my e-mail, this morning, I received the below pic made by a fellow Blogger ~ Smirking Revenge ~ who I call Starbuck - for obvious reasons, when you read her Blog @ http://www.bibliosnark.blogspot.com/

Well, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! I hope that you all enjoy your day & dinner!!! :-)

  5. I can't believe it's your birthday...blah....

May your turkey not turn into a zombie...Or, if that makes for a better birthday, may it become one!!

    Lots of love!

  9. Igloo Keeper,

Ever since my "machete accident" Well, I just find it easier to use things that only require one hand. . .

I am kidding, of course! :-)
I just so happen to enjoy a little sea salt on my meat, etc, and my daughter came across that grinder, one day, and there you have it.

    Thanks for the Birthday wishes!
